Now that I'm off the thalidomide, we've decided to go on holiday. My work took me to a number of the countries in the Balkans but I never made it to Croatia. That is to be rectified next week as we are going for a holiday to near Dubrovnik- see photo. Looking forward to it immensely.
As my treatment has stopped I think I might also give the blog a rest as well. We'll see when we get back.

I am jealous of the solar panels. Hope you had/have a wonderful time in Croatia. Do they speak Scottish? Do you speak Croat?
I think you are not yet done with myeloma treatments - new ones are tumbling out of the research labs every few months. You are not done - there is more life for you.
If your haematologist is out of ideas, let me know - I may have a few.

My Husband also having a rough time with Myeloma, managed a good holiday this year. This has done him the world of good and he is still working hard to stay well. We send our very best wishes to you.
